I have talked in the past about how the New Look in 1964 got rid of many of the supporting characters in the Batman series: Alfred (temporarily), Ace, the Bat-Hound, Bat-Mite, Batwoman and Batgirl (Betty Kane version). Well, it turns out that we can identify the person responsible:
